Verona Kitchen White Gloss

Top tips

Probably the most important element of any kitchen purchase is getting the measurements correct.

Always measure in millimetres the exact width and length of your space/room. It’s always useful if you can create a scaled drawing of your kitchen using the correct dimensions and showing the position of doors and any electrical, gas and plumbing.

Working Triangle

A tried and tested method is the working or ‘magic’ triangle. A kitchen needs three working areas.

It’s recommended that there is as little distance as possible between these three areas.

Corner Situations

Installation Notes – Conventional Corner Units

All corner base units (except L shape versions) are supplied with a corner conversion kit to create the corner post configuration.
Ensure that the units are positioned at correct angles to each other before fitting corner post (supplied)
Ensure that the base corner cabinet end is pulled off the adjoining wall by 100mm for the 1000mm corner unit and by 200mm for the 800mm corner unit and by 200mm for the 1200mm version.
Therefore overall dimensions required to installer the corner units are as follows:
    • 800 CNR (uses a 800mm carcase) requires a total measurement of 1000mm
    • 1000 CNR (uses a 1000mm carcase) requires a total measurement of 1100mm
  • 1200 CNR (uses a 1000mm carcase) requires a total measurement of 1200mm

‘L’ shape Corner Units

The ‘L’ shape corner unit is NOT supplied with a corner post as one is not required.
The 900 x 900mm ‘L’ shaped base unit and 600 x 600mm ‘L’ shaped wall unit are designed specifically for a corner situation and do not require any extra space leaving behind or beside them.
The doors for an ‘L’ shaped unit join together using a special type of BLUM hinge (supplied) and can be hinged from the left or the right.
When using the ‘L’ shape base or wall units, only one of the doors should be fitted with a handle. This will be the door that is not hinged to the carcase.
NOTE: Please be aware that all of our tower and base units are 555mm in depth; and our wall units are 310mm in depth. Please check the depth of any integrated appliances being used as some will require the tower and base units to be installed away from the wall to accommodate the depth.
